Hi there! I'm Dawson, a thirty-something designer living in the Midwest metropolis of Chicago. My early years were spent in the great hand state of Michigan where I first started working on websites way back in 1997. After high school I bounced around to a few different colleges finally landing and graduating in Chicago in 2003.

Outside of my day job I enjoy working on freelance design and web projects, and when I'm not working at all I'm usually reading, sipping wine, sifting through design websites, or traveling the globe. My side projects include:

• Communal, a simple way to organize who's bringing what to a group event.
• Hell's Fairies, an LGBT scooter club with chapters around the United States.
• Pussies on Parade, an online gallery and shop showcasing feline art.
• VTV, a hand-picked collection of visually stimulating music videos from YouTube.
