Tina Roth Eisenberg a.k.a. swissmiss gave this great talk during the Future of Web Design conference on The Power of Side Projects and Eccentric Aunts. I also really liked her take on complainers. "Don't be a complainer. Make things better or let them go." Those are words to live by folks.

I truly believe that everyone should have a side project to work on. Recently for me it's been Pussies on Parade and now VTV. Each allows me to explore cat art and music videos respectively and then share my findings with others.
